Apple Store BKC Mumbai : Apple's 1st Retail Store in India is Here!

Apple has unveiled its 1st retail store in India. It is called ‘Apple BKC’ as it is located in the BKC (Bandra-Kurla Complex) area of Mumbai. It looks quite big and stunning from the outside. You can see the iconic Apple logo in white and a multi-color designer avatar. Today it opened doors to the public as Apple CEO Tim Cook inaugurated the store in Mumbai!

'Apple Saket', the company's 2nd store in India (in Delhi) is also nearing its launch. Attendees will get a Apple tote bag for free along with some goodies!  

Till now, Apple only had resellers in India because it didn’t have minimum 30% components manufactured here itself. This is a rule for foreign companies by the Government of India. However, it saw huge growth in recent years in India, thanks to iPhone 12 and iPhone 13.

Some of the popular Apple resellers are Imagine, Unicorn, and Maple. Now, with the Apple BKC store opening soon, Mumbaikars can expect fine discounts on iPhone 14 models, iPads, and MacBooks from these resellers, and also from other retailers such as Croma, Vijay Sales, and Reliance Digital. Besides, there are also Apple Offers. 

The company commented on Apple BKC saying:-

“Inspired by the iconic Kaali Peeli taxi art unique to Mumbai, the Apple BKC creative includes colorful interpretations of the decals combined with many Apple products and services that will be available for our customers to discover”

You will be able to explore and buy MacBooks, iPads, AirPods, Apple Watches, Apple TVs, iPhones, and HomePods in this store. Moreover, all Apple services will be accessible. The Apple Trade-in program can also be availed here. There is also an interesting section called 'Genius Bar' in this store where an Apple Expert will guide you through all your queries, Apple!
