Asus Zenfone 8z to launch in India today. Know expected features, price and more

With the introduction of the Zenfone 8 series, Asus is planning to bring the Zenfone smartphone series back to India. The brand has announced that the launch of its new smartphone series in India would take place on February 28, 2022. The Zenfone 8 series was released in May 2021, however, Asus was unable to offer it in India due to COVID-19 restrictions. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor will be used in the devices, according to the company.

Asus has announced that the Zenfone 8 would be sold on Flipkart in India as the Asus 8Z. The brand has stated that the launch will take place at 12 p.m. on February 28. It's unclear whether the firm would offer the Zenfone 8 Flip with the Asus 8Z in India.

According to reports, the Asus 8z would be a rebranded version of the Asus ZenFone 8, which was released internationally last year. The Asus 8z is believed to include a 5.9-inch full-HD+ (1,080*2,400 pixels) Samsung AMOLED display with 120Hz capability, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage.

The business is most likely to provide a dual-camera configuration on the back. A 64-megapixel primary sensor and a 12-megapixel secondary sensor will be used to snap images. It could come with a 12-megapixel selfie camera on the front

The Asus Zenfone 8 was released in Europe at a price of €599 euros. In India, the smartphone is estimated to cost around Rs. 44,190 to 50,000.

It contains three microphones, OZO Audio Zoom, and noise-reduction technology. The Asus 8z will also come with Dirac HD Sound dual speakers. The Asus 8Z will have a 4,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging capabilities.
