People would mostly shoo it away, cause 50k is dear to them when they think about reliability and service... Personally, I've recommended infinix laptops to many who are looking bang for the buck and are in a tight budget, but they seek dell, asus , lenovo etc... who cares, these will sell to interested people...

That's the biggest problem.
People need to understand that they are buying laptops and not brands. These big brands like HP and Dell give the worst specs at the highest prices and people would still buy them. These new companies are offering a lot more value for money with their products but people just won't understand.

There are a lot of factors to consider while buying a laptop. You can't buy a laptop solely based on specs. Laptops breakdown, and they need service. Unlike cellphones, people try to repair the laptop. That's why availability of spares is also important. Cooling system is of paramount factor. Availability of accidental damage policy is also important.

And if we consider all these factors, laptops will not be available for cheap. @Sahil_Jain

True
But the thing is that not all new brands take so long for providing after-sales service. There are more Realme service centers (with great service) around us than many popular laptop brands. But people just don't want to try anything new.

Ironically, I was just looking at the infinix laptop lineup some hours ago before coming across your post, the immense value and finish they're offering for an i9 system (some say mac clone, truly correct though, but I'd format that pizza box and put MX linux on it) is great and appealing I must say... there's also a model for i3 12th. gen under 30k - full metal jacket... @Sahil_Jain

Good aftersales service should also be taken into consideration while investing 50K in a brand like Infinix. This looks good on paper though raised_hands

People has a right and they should actually stay away from the unknown and/or new brands, especially for products they rely on for work, like laptops.

Latest example is that AVITA company. The website of the company has been down for 5-6 months now i think but the products are still listed at both bigger platforms (amazon and flipkart). So many people lost their money and time as they received defective laptops but their is NO SERVICE at all.

Even when their is service, you will face issues with parts not being available most of the time and service centers itself being very limited in number and hence over-crowded/over-worked.

Go with GPU for gaming not the CPU. You will still get shabby FPS.

i9 without proper cooling system won't act like i9.

Fully agreed. Just buying a laptop based on its specs is not recommended at all.

A good combination of CPU + GPU would be better, though many uniformed users just go for an expensive CPU and do not understand that the GPU plays the biggest role in gaming/editing.

Fully agreed!
Your argument is valid for most brands but some brands do provide better value + after sales service and that too for cheaper than other brands
I bought a Realme Book last year and my cousin did too. Mine works like a charm and its 2K display looks good too. But he somehow managed to spill coffee on his laptop. He then went to the nearest Realme service center and they repaired the laptop for around 2K within just 2 days. The service was flawless and the amount that they asked for was reasonable too.
Yes, the experience might not be the same for everyone buying a Realme Book, but that goes for other reputed brands like HP and Dell too.
And forget Realme and Infinix; people don't even trust other brands like Asus that gives better specs and service than most brands. Even laptop stores generally keep more laptops from Lenovo/Dell/HP and only a few of them keep Asus laptops.

Yes, the CPU would have to limit itself so that the heat doesn't damage the entire system.

Lenovo gives 3 years ADP at a throw away price of 3k. And I have claimed for hinge damage, keyboard damage, user induced motherboard damage without any cost. 🙂🙂🙂

Was it a deal or an offer? Because its price right now is around 8.8K.

I checked the price online but if it's available for cheaper, then it's much better.

Agreed, buying from reputed brands has its advantages. But there's a huge difference between AVITA and brands like Realme and Infinix. Although they are new to the laptop market, those brands aren't new themselves and have gained people's trust in the smartphone market (not Infinix in most cases).

Also, if we would not purchase products from new brands, we will never get to see competition between these brands and we'll have to be satisfied with what they offer. Even when Chinese brands like Xiaomi and Realme came to India, people didn't show much trust in them in the very beginning. But if people wouldn't have purchased their products back then, we would still be left with those expensive phones that would make no sense for a general user. The same can be said for laptops too. If we show some trust in these brands, there's a high chance that in the near future, they would make more VFM products for us.
