Go to BSNL exchange office, they will provide you the details, whether they are installing or they have given it to the LCO.
Installation charges is free but Modem and Router Charges is around 3500/- /or 4500 depends on area,to be paid to the local vendor. Other Pvt operators are way ahead of bsnl of this non-sense pricing.
Are the prices inclusive of GST ?

Bas yehi par yeh deal flop ho gyi!
Aun lagwata hai fibre?
Socho? Upper middle-class jo busy hoti hai Comfort khojti hai. Jaha Airtel or Jio ek call me ghar aakar laga jate hai or service free, price low, maintenance-free, an abundance of benefits waha yeh I don't think would sail through .
T- not worth the deal

Imagine if your internet goes down... Write a letter and submit in exchange.. I was once rejected long ago as i did not have the margin on the letter that i submitted. Arrogance is punished by competition.
Also.. When i lived abroad.. They figured out a method to calculate the mins for skype calls and there was international mins billed. ( i am a network engineer myself and i wonder how on earth that VOIP / SIP traffic was billed)

I applied online 3 years back using same link and process was smooth although installation was done after a week
I applaud those that can jump through numerous hoops to get BSNL connection and endure BSNL for the sake of "free" access to OTT platforms.
Bekar don't ever buy mobile se chala lo par bsnl no
I am in Goa ..and there's no other option at my location. Would have tried, but that 4500 initial cost seems too steep for trying a service I may regret a month later.
Very poor service from bsnl when I was a customer many years ago. Doubt they would change their behaviour for good since it's still under govt .

Very very good for me, surprisingly professional and that was unexpected. No downtime in almost a month, getting promised speeds. 🙂

I guess the ones working in your area are sincere people. It's not just BSNL, even jio and airtel and the dead tata docomo had given me a shit ton of headaches and high bp. Maybe the hiring process in Assam is below average.
