Jio 5G is unlimited for everyone if you have compatible handset and live in metrocity otherwise extra 23 days is the deal here not 5g. it's sole discretion of jio to withdraw unlimited plan at anytime.

Unlimited 5g entire year or till 5g trail last?
I think probably not for an entire year.. it would only be for those extra 23 days - https://www.desidime.com/deals/23-days-extra-on...

Yesterday i done 1559 rc to my grandmother's number.she got unlimited 5g trail for 336 days and some 1 month 5g data trail voucher.so irrespective of plan they credit unlimited 5g trail to all 2 to 3 times if is sim is present in 5g compatible device.
Irony is i m using 4g n my grandmother using 5g now 🤧

I recharged with 749 a few days back.. (2gb/day, 90days) 5g wasn't there at the time. Got 5g welcome activated yesterday.. So, what would happen on next recharge? Is 5g trial valid till Jio allows or for 1plan only?

Btw if u r using Jio5G, How is the call/net quality and stability.. like is there call drop problem like initial 4g days.?
If I recharge with Rs. 300/301 pack which gives 50 GB data for 30 days, will I get unlimited 5G too?
P.S. Jio SIM is in a 5G enabled phone but I don't have any current plan activated, Jio is my secondary number which I use to top-up for 50 GB data plan when I visit outstation.
Cross checked, not available for data only plan
@Vrushali.S
Suppose I get the 25 GB data plan + voice which is around Rs. 200 something for 28 days and it does say unlimited 5G for elgible subscribers.
Does that mean, if I use 4G data, it will be utilized from 25 GB quota and if I use 5G, that's pure unlimited for 28 days?
any recharge offers ?
sahil1033 wrote:Yes, if you use 4G data, it will be utilized from the 25 GB quota, and for 5G unlimited, I am not sure if it would be for complete 28 days. Other dimers have reported the unlimited 5G to be working for a month at least but I think that depends on the plan's validity as well. I think for a 28 days plan, you can expect to get unlimited 5G for 7 days or 15 days..and if we are lucky, it could be up to 23 days too.@Vrushali.S

Unlike Airtel 5G, Jio uses a standalone architecture which means it does not have to rely on its 4G towers which makes Jio 5G service much faster. Also, if you remember, Jio has acquired the 700-Mhz band, one of the best 5G bands.
lalitsheoran wrote:But it does have the offer.. is your device 5G compatible? and did you check for the offer in the "my vouchers" section of the My Jio app?
Also 5g doesn't work for the Rs.395 plan

I have recharge 239 with 1.5gb/day. Not able to select 5g network. No notification regarding welcome offer in my jio app. Handset and area both have 5g.
