Google Photos was best…I have saved almost 50k photos there!!
I personally liked the PEOPLE feature where all photos of particular person was grouped.

Any alternative suggestion and where PEOPLE feature is also there
Or else I have to go with Google ONE

All photos and videos you back up in High quality before June 1, 2021 are exempt from this change and will not count toward your Google Account storage. This includes all of your existing content uploaded in High quality.

Got the above from Google, it means we don’t have to do anything for photos currently in Google photos right ? Anything uploaded after June 21 only will be accounted for the 15gb quota.

But the photos already stored there till July 2021,will be exempted, going forward only storage will be charged. THIS IS WHAT I could excerpt from that .

MS office offers 1TB one drive space for 6 users at ~5000 rs per year . Sounds a good deal to go for . That’s like 70rs per month for 1TB .

Buy a Pixel phone. You won’t lose this freebie. If you need cloud storage like me, pixel will make so much more sense from now. I bought a Pixel phone 3 years back. I uploaded so many photos and videos, I must have a dedicated server for myself in Google by now. 😂

Reports are saying that even the pixels will face the music after sometime.. Nobody is safe.. That is what happens when you make monopolies… You dictate the market… Google has lot of anti trust lawsuits going…

The existing photos won’t be counted in the limit. So No need to transfer out

This is really a bad news, I’ve been using Google photos since 2012. I think I’ve almost 1 lakh of photos. How to bear such transfer time and what if it wouldn’t be backup or transfer properly. Google is playing bad. The true colour of Google can be seen.. expressionless
