thanks, i hv done 1449 plan thankfully last year also thats why its in que now and validity feb 2027
An important point was missed on Vi recharge. Vi has lumpsum data deals on longer validity plans, like for 3099 plan, 2gb/day with 50gb lumpsum data. But if you recharge Vi before the existing plan is expired, your existing lumpsum will be forfeited and new lumpsum will start at that moment (with 1 year validity for 3099 plan). The old lumpsum will be reactivated after the full consumption of the new lumpsum (if it the validity is not over of the old pack). Although the 2gb/day plan will be queued. Faced this problem last year. Apart from that, its a great article.
Thanks for sharing that information. I was going to recharge with that 3099 plan just now. BTW did you loose the 50 GB data on 3099 Recharge?
Can you please

Will the autopay amount change after 3rd july if i setup Jio autopay for the 395 plan?
"Any modification/cancellation of AutoPay shall be effective from the upcoming debit trigger of AutoPay which is 5 days before the expiry of the (last) active plan or upon 90% of the data consumption for long-term plans with no daily data limit."

Can we queue different plans on Vi? I am seeing some mixed info here.
I have 479 (1.5gb/day) till 17 Oct. Can I do a 3099 recharge on top of that it queues?
I am currently on a ₹179 Fixed Data Plan. If I recharge with a ₹479 Daily Data Plan, will the ₹479 plan activate immediately and will I lose the remaining benefits of my ₹179 plan?
As far as I know, you cannot queue a plan from fixed data with daily data (vice-versa). In this case, if you try to queue, the 479 plan will activate immediately losing previous 179 plan's benefits/remaining validity
Edit: Referring to Vi here
Mam my dad's 1449 recharge is going to expire in November. I recharged with 1449 once yesterday since the prices are going to increase. Can I recharge his number again with the same plan? Will it get queued or not?
An addition regarding Vi recharge as discussed with their cc that similar plan can be qued any number of times but my personal experience says that more than 2 or 3 recharge gets failed. And you can't do multiple recharges within a quick span of time unlike you can do in Jio.
Yes, only one plan can be queued per day. For 2nd, you need to recharge after 24 hours of previous recharge.
Thanks a lot for detailed information
I've spoken with customer care executives of respective carriers. Please confirm once
Jio:
Unlimited 5G only works with recharges of 2GB or more data per day. This information was confirmed by a Jio customer care representative.
Queued recharges before July 3rd will be grandfathered in and continue to offer unlimited 5G according to their original plan validity.
Queued recharges activated after July 3rd will follow the revised plan benefits, which may not include unlimited 5G even if the total data allowance seems sufficient.
Example:
Recharging with four ₹395 plans (each with 84 days validity) before July 3rd will provide unlimited 5G for the entire validity period (all four recharges combined).
However, once the first recharge expires and the second one activates after July 3rd, you'll receive only 6GB data (from the ₹395 plan) with 84 days validity, but no unlimited 5G because the revised plan might not offer it
Airtel:
Queueing recharges does not work for Airtel. Airtel plans will activate based on the recharge date, not the queuing order. The exceptions are half-yearly and yearly plans.
There is no benefit to queuing Airtel prepaid recharges because the latest activated plan will override any previous ones.
I have 666 rs plan can I queue up 2899 rs plan ?
I have active plan rs479 can i queue rs 2999 plan over this plan on vi ?
Hope you already did the recharge..can see 2999 Vi recharge is gone by now

Pack 2 (Recharged on day 10) – 90 days, 3 GB/day Additive Benefit Total Validity= 118 days (28 days + 90 days)
Total UL calling= 118 days (28 days + 90 days)
Total Data Benefit 1 GB (Base)+1 GB (supplementary)= 2 GB/day from day 1 to day 09
1 GB (Base)+3 GB(supplementary)= 4 GB/day from day 10 to day 28
1 GB (Base)+2 GB (supplementary)= 3 GB/day from day 29 to day 99
1 GB (Base)= 1 GB/day from day 100 to day 118.

@Vrushali.S i am looking to my recharge that going to expires in 07mar 2025 with Rs 365 unlimited data plan for Karnataka circle if i do recharge with Rs 299 i.e 1gb/day can i stack or queue following plan @deals_greed .
here i am confused with unlimited daily data vs 1 or 1.5gb /day data basically i need to use data pack here if possible, we can carry forward my usage sometimes more & someday Nill usage i have jio for voice for daily but indoor coverage is very poor for jio so usage shifted for data in vi .
kindly suggest here.
Due to indoor coverage issue with jio i am suffering internet connectivity issue even worst during week off days but sometimes getting good speed around 2 to 5MBps same airtel situation is worst despite high prices of pack.
I am using my vi no. here from last two times i am doing 365 recharges only for 28 days even my monthly uses b/w 40 GB around only.
I need suggestion for VI prepaid for data services only pack i am not using any voice, sms services for that no . After research i found most pack have no service validity except following recharge value mentioned as Rs 348 & 488 respectively 50 GB & 100 GB kindly someone share experience if using vi prepaid no for data pack only i am looking for more than 28 days at least 60- 90 days.
As per vi care every data pack need unlimited plan for base pack these pack are working as add on it won't work standalone.
Kindly share some suggestion which pack suits for this criteria i have yearly recharge on jio as primary no all family no but indoor n/w for internet is critical now a days outdoor it jio works very well.

If your need is only data, then go form 365 days 2gb/day plan, which is probably 3599/-. You'll get 12am-12pm free unlimited internet everyday + weekend data rollover + (1+1) gb free data each calender month + (10x13) gb extra meaning 10 gb per 28 days (vi guarantee). Also there is 50 GB extra data for first 90 days (probably). Also there is a 50/- discount on 3599 pack, 75/- discount on 3699 (3599+hotstar) and 100/- discount on 3799 (3599 + amazon prime).
