How to Get JioFiber free with Installation for 1 Year?

Finally this month Jio fibre is available in my locality. Currently having 499 broadband plan from airtel having around 45 – 50 mbps upload speed. 

Below are my queries. Can anyone please answer who are using Jio Fibre(in Bangalore)?

1. Is it good idea to move from airtel to Jio? 

2. for 399 plan, am I able to get above 30mbps speed all the time?

3. Is there any connection failures as in airtel there are around 1 day down once in 2 month? Is downtime similar to airtel?

4. Can I access star channels using jio network from hotstar app(kodi addon -> Jio TV -> hotstar)?

5. Any way to have free installation other than choosing post paid? Hopefully we can force them to move to prepaid after using some time by blackmail of moving to other providers.

6. Any other benefit using jio other than 100 Rs saving as OTT subscription plans are waste as its not including amazon video. 6 OTT was worst plan for 100 Rs extra as listed in https://www.jio.com/en-in/faq/jiofiber/new-cust...

In a second major city in chhattisgarh since the launch of jio fiber they are not able to extend till the new high court area which is little outskirt of the city. So I think something is really not well in expanding their network. Not at all expected from an aggressive private player like jio. At the same time took BSNL fiber as a last resort which is okay but inconsistent and unreliable service support.

Worst customer support, no coordinator between sales and operations teams, pathetic way of response… personal experience

For 2500 INR Prepaid Subscribers, is there any option to return only the Sh*t Top Box and get a refund of sec deposit ? 😒

getting an option in app to get stb which requires me to pay (399+100)+GST. Not upgrading right now since there is no clarity on what will happen to the payment for the current month (In jio’s postpaid you pay in advance) is already made. 

How to get jio fiber free for 3 years, refer 36 people and get free jio fiber for 3 yrs.

if that is terms and conditions.. why dont me and the referee partner with 😄each other. and distribute the plans price. 

Is 699 plan unlimited data monthly?

How to get jio fiber free for 2 years, refer 24 people and get free jio fiber for 2 yrs.

I am using 40Mbps GTPL @ ₹6000 for a year. No installation charge, using my own router bought in a sale @₹1k. And in my home smart TV, 2 alexa, and 3 laptops continuous usage

And few OTT subscription bought in sale like z5, sony, voot, hotstar etc.

I opted for prepaid connection 2500/- with STB. after free month, using 399 plan , STB will play free like jio tv

Right now they do not provide stb on 399 plan

Jio fiber is not available in all areas, i am waiting for it to be available in bglr

Can I refer my friend who live in a different building? 

This is not possible because every box of Jio fiber has 6-8 connections so you can only avail yourself benefits of only 5 (-1 your own connection).

For this, you have to either have to change the box or your location.

And don’t forget you will gonna need 12 number and 12 Aadhar card too

Can we shift to postpay from prepaid with same account?
I got prepaid connection by paying 2500 for set top box and router around 6 months back alomg with 2 months of 999 plan(1st month free and 2nd month as referral)

@Akansha_B referral benefits are applicable only if the new connection ( through one’s referral ) is in the same building as the referer..

Please let us know if the referral TnC are updated to give benefits if referrer and referred are in different addresses..
