Reliance Industries has announced that it's 2022 annual general meeting (AGM) would be held later this month. On August 29, the meeting will be held virtually. The telecom operator is expected to unveil the much-anticipated Jio 5G phone, also known as the JioPhone 5G. While the company hasn't revealed anything about the AGM in terms of what will be discussed, we anticipate there will be 5G announcements.
Mukesh Ambani is expected to reveal Jio 5G services and when and how they will be accessible to users. The corporation could also reveal 5G plans or anything similar to the "welcome" deal that it made when it announced 4G services in 2016.

Reliance Jio has been testing 5G services for some time and is likely to launch them shortly. The telecom provider is expected to launch 5G in 13 cities in the first phase, including Delhi, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Gurugram, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Jamnagar, Kolkata, and Lucknow.
Reliance Jio is expected to release its first 5G smartphone soon. According to rumors, Jio will unveil its 5G smartphone during the company's annual general meeting (AGM) later this month.
The Jio 5G Phone's pricing and specifications have already been made public before its launch. According to reports, Jio might collaborate with Google to develop a low-cost 5G phone. The Jio 5G Phone is said to run PragatiOS, much as the JioPhone Next. Here is all the information we know so far about the JioPhone 5G.
As far as the pricing is concerned, the smartphone is likely to be priced under Rs 12,000.
According to reports, the Jio 5G Phone would have a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ quality. The panel is thought to offer the industry-standard 60Hz refresh rate.
An octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G CPU is reported to power the rumored Jio 5G Phone. The mobile device would also include 4GB of RAM and 32GB of extendable storage. Additionally, it will run PragatiOS and provide a few Jio applications in addition to Google Play Services. A 5,000mAh battery with at least 18W fast charging capability will probably be included in the smartphone.
The biggest difference between 4G and 5G is latency. 5G claims decreased latency under 5 ms, compared to 4G's range of 60 to 98 ms. Improvements in other areas, such as quicker download speeds, are also given about by lower latency.

Note from Desidime Team: This post is still under moderation. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
If you look at the previous experince if the Jio devices or Jio Lyf phone the phone hardware will be cheap and will last just 3-6 months and Reliance warranty is useless.
BSNL will get 4G in 2023...😢
