You get 3 complimentary devices on your Jio AirFiber and they are: a 4K Smart Setup Box, a Voice Active Remote, and a Wi-Fi router.
An installation charge of Rs.1000 is also applicable for new JioAirFiber connections. This is refundable if you opt for their annual plan
A booking amount of Rs.100 will be charged which will be adjusted in your bill
Jio AirFiber works on Jio 5G so the unit most likely can only be installed in areas Jio 5G is available in
Jio is yet to confirm if the Jio Airfiber can work on the 4G network if 5G isn’t available
The Jio AirFiber can provide an approximate coverage of up to 20 to 30 feet radius.

The total cost of installing & activating the Jio AirFiber can be done by summing up the following costs: (Plan price) + (18% GST) + (Rs.1000 charges if applicable) + (Rs.100 booking amount - adjusted later)
So for example, if you’re planning to book the Jio AirFiber 599 Plan for 6 months, the total cost comes to around Rs.4240 (inclusive of GST) + (Rs.1000 installation charge) + (Rs.100 booking amount) and hence, the total cost would be Rs.5340.
Similarly, you can calculate the total cost for any Jio AirFiber plan this way. Also, keep in mind that the installation cost is waived if you purchase the Jio AirFiber annual plan.

Jio AirFiber is powered by the Jio True 5G network and can provide a speed of up to 1 Gbps.
2. Does the Jio AirFiber work on 5G only?
The Jio AirFiber is powered by Jio’s True 5G Network so it may only work in areas that have support to Jio 5G.
3. How many devices can we add for unlimited voice on Jio AirFiber?
One landline device and up to 6 smartphone devices can be configured for unlimited voice. However, the call would work on only one of the devices at a time.
4. Can you use Jio AirFiber on a device that has an other SIM than Jio?
Yes, the Jio AirFiber like any other broadband service can be used on any device with any operator’s SIM.

No, Jio AirFiber is locked with a Jio SIM card.

Once your documents are verified, the installation engineer will visit your house and install and activate the Jio AirFiber within approximately 2 hours. The time of delivery for Jio AirFiber is unknown.

In terms of price, Jio AirFiber’s 6-month plan of Rs.3594 (+ GST) is cheaper than Airtel AirFiber’s 6-month plan of Rs.4435 (+ GST). However, Airtel claims to offer more speed.
11. How many devices can you connect to Jio AirFiber at a time?
You can connect as many devices to Jio AirFiber at a time as you want to. However, the data shouldn’t exceed the 3300 GB limit as per the commercial usage policy of JioFiber.
12. Do I have to return the Jio STB and other equipment if I cancel my Jio AirFiber subscription?
As per the terms and conditions of Jio, “JioFiber Service Equipment (Router / Set Top Box/ CPE ) provided to you shall always remain the property of the Company and /its Affiliates. You shall return the Jio Fiber Equipment in the same condition, subject to normal wear and tear, upon termination of Jio Fiber services”
