We have seen some reports online claiming that as part of the Diwali Dhamaka Offer on Jio, the telco giant has launched a “new” Jio Diwali ₹153 plan but note that this is untrue.
The ₹153 mobile recharge plan is specifically for JioPhone users and promises 28 days validity, 0.5GB data per day benefit (14GB in total) + 1 GB extra free. However, this is not a “new Jio Diwali plan” of 2024 but rather an old plan that has existed long before.
So, for users who got happy thinking that Jio has brought back its ₹153 monthly recharge plan, which it used to offer for non-JioPhone users too ( a few years back), sadly, the news is false.
