The launch of 5G in India is not far away, and users will soon be able to enjoy better internet speeds. Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared earlier today while addressing the nation from the Red Fort on the 75th anniversary of India's independence, that the wait for 5G is over and that it will soon be rolled out to various parts of the country.
Whereas, Reliance Jio has introduced a new prepaid recharge package. The new prepaid package, priced at Rs 750, provides 2GB of mobile data every day for 90 days. The new Jio package celebrates India's 75th anniversary of independence.
Reliance Jio's new Rs 750 plan combines the features of two distinct plans – 749 and Re 1. The former provides consumers with unlimited phone calling data and mobile data with a daily cap of 2GB. When the daily data limit is reached, internet speed is decreased to 64Kbps. It also includes 100 SMS per day and a subscription to Jio applications.
The second Re 1 plan provides 100 MB of high-speed data (after that, limitless at 64Kbps) for 90 days. Users will also have access to Jio applications such as JioSaavn, JioCinema, and others.

Reliance Jio's new Rs 750 plans will be added to the existing Rs 249, Rs 299, Rs 533, Rs 719, Rs 799, Rs 1066, and Rs 2879 tariffs. All of these prepaid plans provide 2GB of data each day. However, the validity and advantages of each plan vary. For example, the Reliance Jio Rs 249 plan is good for 23 days, whereas the Rs 299 prepaid plan is valid for 28 days. Similarly, Rs 533 has a validity period of 56 days. Jio's Rs 719 prepaid plan, on the other hand, has an 84-day validity period.
The 799 and 1,066 prepaid plans from Reliance Jio include a free membership to Disney+ Hotstar. The former is valid for 56 days, while the latter is valid for 84 days. Finally, the Reliance Jio 2,879 plan has a 365-day validity period.
