What is JioGames Cloud Gaming?

JioGames Cloud service is a cloud gaming platform by Jio that caters to gamers and offers a catalog of games ranging from AAA Titles to Hyper Casual games distributed across different genres and categories.

A cloud gaming platform is nothing but a cloud (internet-based) platform where the games are installed on the service provider. This means, to use Jio Gaming Cloud service you do not need to have a separate special device, such as a gaming console. The apps would be installed on Jio’s servers and all you’d need is a compatible device that supports them.

Also, the Jio Gaming Cloud service is not just limited to Jio users. Reliance Jio has kept the cloud gaming service free to use for all irrespective of their telecom service providers. Which is a good thing because even non-Jio users can try their hands on JioGames Cloud.

Will it be provided at 1 gbps speed ? I am asking because 4K monitor requires 32 GBPs bandwith to display entire picture and 1080p requires about 8Gbps ..... It means on cloud gaming the visual quality will be less ( like a movie ) .

Currently, I am not sure if they are providing 1GBps speed for their Beta version (free). They also wish to launch their paid plan so maybe for that, we can expect them to provide it.

If somebody has tried playing it on a monitor and can share the experience, please do so. Would be of great help.

Are you really saying about Gbps about 4K monitor?
for proper disaply of 1080p, 8Mbps is more than enough.
and for 4K display, ~32Mbps is enough.

there is big difference between 8 Mbps youtube video vs 32 Mbps video vs 100mbps/200mbps HDR bluray quality video ...... there will be surely difference in visual quality ( what about Antialiasing ? ) ... You can also check the bandwidth of hdmi/DP cable in nvidia/amd control panel ( display section ) ... Why Pay for everything like Rent ( music, movies , education ( byjus and etc ..... online ..... .... now games also ? ) .... instead build your own pc and be the owner of your things plus1

Use US or EU server proxy for sign up and initial connectivity of game. Then disconnect the vpn server once game is loaded. This is how you can play it without relaying on proxy and low ping... I have been playing there from 2 years, no issue...

Best quality... Best graphics and totally stable. No delay in response of click. Seems like you are playing on your own PC. I have been playing it from last 2 years. Never face any issue.

This is the process of sign up

It will never be provided at speed of 1 gbps+ . It is same as AMD Link and Nvidia Geforce now ( transmission takes place in hevc video format upto 50 Mbps video bitrate ) .... I hope Jio discloses which Gfx card they are using ( nvidia geforce now uses rtx 3080 ) and jio should introduce something new like 1gbps+ ( 10 gbps ethernet fibre for native-like cloud gaming ) ..... And also on nvidia GeForce now you need to purchase games seperately grinning
