I think Micromax is just trying to cash in on the so called ‘anti-china’ sentiment while delivering sub par products. Would be more interesting if they would have provided better processors with better customer service. Plus their tag line ‘Aao karein cheeni kum’ is nothing but a facade. Micromax itself is a brand which rebrands chinese made smartphones. And this time it’ll be no different again.

Another Failure.
Instead
1. use Snapdragon 675/710 processor with CA enabled.
2. Use 12 MP Sony IMX363 sensor for quality photos
3. Use of Good quality LCD and battery 5000 mAH
4. Service support for 2 days repair/replacement
Follow Moto G series success.

Eagerly waiting for the debut.

I have high hopes. Really want to see people moving from Redmi and Poco of the world to IN. And it is just a start. I am sure people will give it a thumbs up so that Micromax is able to manufacture many more phones. Also wants to see the jobs shift from the chinese bands to Indian brands.

Best of luck to M!cromax

I’m not on either bandwagon. Neither anti China, nor pro China, neither anti govt, nor pro govt. So I don’t want join the debate. You can continue on that. Maybe mediatek is Chinese, but on paper, it’s not. Just like buying non Chinese, but American products makes one nationalist. grinning

zero faith in this company which has produced nothing but garbage. Never invested any money in producing good quality products. Earlier they would just import mobiles from china and brand them.

You are absolutely right. Mediatek is a Taiwanese company just like Asus, not Chinese at all.

Potato 🥔 from tomato 🍅 company

If it wasn’t China, nobody would’ve heard sh#t about micromax. And it’s founder would’ve been doing 9-5 job in a cubicle. Founder should be thankful for China for what ‘success’ he had in life.
