Motorola, the US smartphone brand is set to bring its Edge Fusion series soon. Last year, in April the brand unveiled its premium offering Moto Edge 50 Fusion and the phone debuted its first sale in May. Expect the same this time with Edge 60 Fusion, an upcoming smartphone in India expected to be priced around Rs.25,000 to Rs.27,000 and pack a Mediatek 7400 chip inside.

Motorola is yet to share any official announcements on its website or social media platforms. However, Flipkart, Moto’s online retail partner earlier teased a banner hinting towards Moto Edge 60 Fusion’s launch. The launch banner didn’t spell a particular phone name but it read "Experience the Edge, Live the Fusion" hinting towards the Edge 60 Fusion’s upcoming mobile phone launch in India.

Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is expected to arrive with a 50MP Sony LYTIA sensor with OIS and a circular LED flash unit. If we buy into leaks and rumours, Moto Edge 60 Fusion base variant will start from 8GB + 256GB storage. The phone display would be a 6.7” FHD+ pOLED 144Hz display same as its predecessor Edge 50 Fusion. Coming to the processor of Moto Edge 60 Fusion, it is expected this new upcoming smartphone will boast the latest MTK Dimensity 7400 which on paper seems to show better single-core (7%⬆️) and multi-core performance (8%⬆️) than Snapdragon 7S Gen 2. The new mobile phone from Moto will pack in a monstrous 6000mAh battery with 68W fast charge. The selfie cam is rumoured to be 32MP. One of the most buzzing smartphone launches in April 2025 is Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. Samsung, the South-Korean tech giant saw a sharp dip in its smartphone sales in India last year in 2024. This year in 2025, Samsung has introduced a new name in its S-series list, Samsung S25 Edge which is rumoured to be the thinnest (5.84mm) & the lightest (162g) Samsung phone in years. Until now this new mobile phone release was expected to only occur in European regions. However, the S25 Edge listing on BIS with model number “SM-S937B” suggests that fans in India would also get to try their hands on this new smartphone. However do note that there are no official announcements as of now. As per leaks and rumours, Samsung S25 Edge is expected to launch in global markets on April 16, 2025 and the sale would likely begin in May.

Samsung S25 Edge is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip just like the rest of the Samsung S25 models. Compared to other models, S25 Edge is expected to be a smaller, compact version. But that often comes with the cost of getting a small battery capacity. Thus it is expected that even the S25 Edge will feature a 3900mAh battery and a listing on China's 3C website indicates the phone will support 25W charging similar to the base Galaxy S25 model. Based on Android 15, the upcoming mobile phone will likely run on One UI.7.0 and a 200MP primary camera with 12MP ultra-wide camera. Oppo Find X8 Ultra is a flagship offering from the Chinese smartphone brand. After launching Oppo X8 series in China in October last year and in November in India, Oppo is set to bring its Oppo Find X8 Ultra flagship to India in the month of April 2025. Oppo’s product manager confirmed that Oppo Find X8 Ultra sales will begin in the same month (April). The price of this upcoming smartphone by Oppo might be up to 1.3L to 1.5L rupees as the current Oppo Find X8 Pro costs about Rs.99,000. There’s also one more rumoured device possibly launching soon i.e. Oppo Find X8 Next. This is said to a thinner or smaller phone believed to give competition to Samsung S25 Edge, iPhone 17 Air and others. Here are the expected specs of the upcoming smartphone Oppo Find X8 Ultra:

If we buy into the leaks and rumours, this new flagship smartphone from Oppo will boast a 2K OLED display with a 6.82” sized screen. Coming to the cameras which are apparently a top highlight to these Oppo flagships, this new mobile phone will arrive with a 1-inch primary camera sensor complemented by 2 periscope telephoto cameras and an ultrawide lens. Both the Oppo Find X8 Pro & Oppo Find X8 base variant packs in a MTK Dimensity 9400 chip and both run on Android 15 with ColourOS 15. Expect the upcoming Oppo Find X8 to also pack in a similar setup. Also, do keep in mind that there are no official announcements about the Oppo Find X8 Ultra launch in India or markets outside of China. So take this info with a pinch of salt.

Vivo with 18% market share ranked number 1 among all other smartphone brands in Q4 2024 followed by Xiaomi at 15.2% and Samsung at 15.1%. The number 1 smartphone brand in India in 2025, Vivo, didn’t launch the Vivo X100 Ultra version in the country. However this time with many other smartphone competitors launching additional models to their existing flagship series (like Samsung S25 Edge, iPhone 16e, iPhone 17 Air, etc) Vivo might consider bringing this new mobile phone in India in the month of April.

As per a rumoured internal report of BW, it is said that Vivo is internally pushing for the launch of Vivo X200 Ultra and Vivo X200 Mini models in India after the success of Vivo X200 Pro being completely sold out. The report also says that the success of Vivo X Fold 3 Pro might be driving this upcoming mobile phone release in India. However at the moment, the phone is only listed on China’s 3C Certification Platform and is expected to launch in China in April and soon after globally. Currently, there are no official announcements made for an India launch.

Vivo X200 Ultra is expected to boast MTK Dimensity 9400+ chipset or Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Being known for its superb cameras, Vivo X200 Ultra will likely feature a triple camera setup of 50MP main + 50MP ultrawide + 200MP periscope telephoto camera. Additionally following its footsteps of adding extra photography capabilities with Vivo’s custom chip, the brand might introduce its latest Vivo V4 chip in its upcoming smartphone launch. Additionally, while many flagships are choosing flat displays over curved displays, Vivo X200 might feature a 2K quad-curved display

POCO F7 series is tipped to launch globally towards March-end. After the success of the POCO F6 5G series in India, the Chinese brand is all set to bring its POCO F7 series.
