Ola’s ONDC Food App is currently in testing phase so is available only to select users. Checkout if you have got the access. You will find the ‘Ola ONDC Food’ section in your Ola app itself. All users will soon be able to order food from restaurants via this Ola ONDC Food App.
The company earlier tried hands on Ola Store, Ola Foods, Ola Dash, Ola Cafe, Foodpanda which were into grocery (includes 10-min grocery delivery), cloud kitchen, and similar food delivery space, but didn’t work out.
The government backed ONDC has been doing great in terms of online food ordering via partner apps like MagicPin, Paytm, Pincode, and others. With Ola coming in, users will have a lot of discounts on offer! Grab Ola Coupons here!
Ola also faces challenges in its core segment as the Namma Yatri app (via ONDC) was recently launched in Bangalore for travel bookings which includes autos, metros, buses, etc.
ONDC Food segment has 50,000+ restaurants across 172+ cities in India.

Other companies that joined ONDC recently include PepsiCo, Ferns N Petals, Bluestar, Villain, Priyasi, and MyFitness. Therefore, ONDC is now into food & beverages, grocery, home & kitchen, mobility, electronics, fashion, and beauty & personal care giving a tough competition to Amazon and Flipkart.
