It's been a long time coming and the wait is over! OnePlus has recently announced the release of its first smartwatch. Both basic health-tracking sensors are included in the latest OnePlus Watch with a circular dial design.
The basic version of the current smartwatch costs Rs 16,999. The price of the upcoming Cobalt Limited Edition watch is yet to be announced. The company revealed the news with an eight-second teaser that they shared on Twitter on March 23rd, 2021.
According to the company's announcement, the OnePlus smartwatch will be launched on 15th April 2021 at 9 Am. On the same day as the announcement of the smartwatch, the company will also unveil its next-generation flagship smartphones, the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. Their previous launched teaser included the OnePlus Nord N1 5G which is set to launch in June has the Oneplus users awaiting.
The OnePlus Watch is built with around a 46mm stainless steel case and a 1.39-inch touch screen. It's only available in Midnight Black, but you can change the watch faces and the belt with third-party options to make it your own.
The smartwatch is also available in a "Cobalt Limited Edition," which is a little more rugged than the standard version. The display is sapphire glass, and the case is made of cobalt alloy (which is twice as strong and corrosion-resistant as stainless steel).

The OnePlus Watch has a built-in GPS, a heart-rate monitor, and SPO2 sensor, stress monitoring, and inactivity reminders, among other features. The watch is waterproof up to 5 ATM (50 metres) and IP68 certified, which ensures it can withstand dust and water.
It also has more than 110 exercise modes, including Parkour Mode (yes, you heard that right) and automatic running and jogging track. You'll be able to monitor your stats from a separate OnePlus Health app while your action is monitored on the smartwatch.
In terms of price and availability, the OnePlus Smartwatch Classic Version will be priced at Rs 14,999, while the Cobalt Limited Edition's price is yet to be decided. It will be available for sale on April 14th on Flipkart. The Oneplus watch offers an additional Rs 2000 off on purchase with your SBI Credit Cards and EMI transactions.
With its huge success with smartphones, the smartwatch is to be expected no less than the benchmark set. What do you think of the features and pricing the company has set, let us know in the comment section below.
@ 13k smartwatch is very good range compare to other premium brands…
Oneplus is not premium, they are just wannabe premium, at least for products other than mobiles.
Earlier Oneplus phones were flagships, agreed. Now more marketing and hype, with less substance.
And not at all value for money for TVs and other products.

Affordable at 14999/- Ahem.
Ye to wahi 35000/- wali ‘affordable’ iPhone ki category main ati hai.
SMART WATCH = another android screen. I have carry, I have to charge. It will also harm my body
Oneplus = Nakhre noorjahan ke, aukat nahi hai but price tag itna jyada kar denge, ki log premium samajhne lage
Paas
Mi band 6
I am using this watch. Not worth 13k. It’s like a beta version.
Agreed
no
Vu
My noise colour fit 3 does most which I got for 3k.
“affordable” is ₹2000 health band. Not a ₹15k toy
Well, you can’t install third party apps which puts this watch in fitness watch category rather than smart watch category. I’ll give it a pass!
which budgted smartwatch do you suggest which also connects with iPhone…pls do not suggest apple’s one…its boring!
Oneplus has gone nuts.
Super flop overhyped shit
I’ll still go with my Casio f91w
Looks like copy paste of Huawei gt2 watch which is 2 years old
For me, no amount is affordable as investing in smart watch is waste.
That’s personal Choice I own 3 Smartwatches But OnePlus Watch is not worth it for 15 k Maybe if they lauched it with Built in Esim Then It would be sell in high amount
for me, MI band 4 is affordable bought for ₹2200 last year
When you call it a Smart “Watch”, the watch part is what the focus is on. What Fitbit has is a ‘Advanced Health Watch’ so there is no comparison between these two!
If you are a fitness freak, leave all those ‘Smart Watches’ and get your self a ‘Fitness Band’.
I have been using Motorola Moto 360 2nd Gen since Nov. 2016, now that’s a ‘Smart Watch’ and I used it as one. For fitness/wellbeing tracking, I would go for Honor Band 5, GOQii VITAL 3.0 or the latest in the range as I could literally wear those 24/7 unlike the ‘Smart Watches’.
Smartwatch pricings can be bring down by high sales no. as major amount of smartphone users don’t think of it as an important product in their life and investing in it, pricings remains high as company have to recover R&D both on hardware and software

15k smartwatch is not ’affordable’+
LoL. Same feeling. People use the term pretty casually. “Affordable”, is a relative term.
Does it has play store?
no. dont buy this watch. theres a fossil watch for 18k which is far better than this and runs wear os
