Poco has been one of the most active brands in the budget, midrange, and upper midrange phone categories with its F and M series. Now, the brand has officially announced an event where it will unveil two of its newest smartphones, the Poco M5 and Poco M5s. In the past few years, we have seen how Poco offers some of the best specs in the budget category, and users are often in awe because of the same. Today, we will talk about the price and possible specs of both these phones, Poco M5 & Poco M5s, based on what we have seen from the brand in the past and what the competitors are up to.
Poco M5 Specifications and Expected Price: MediaTek Helio G99 Under ₹15000
Poco M5, the newest member of the Poco M series, is expected to arrive with the newly announced MediaTek Helio G99 chipset. Also, it will most likely have an FHD+ IPS LCD display of 6.58 inches. The same display will also support a high refresh rate and thus, Poco M5 primarily targets gamers in the budget section. Considering the previously launched Poco M series phones, this one will also come in three different variants: 4GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB, and, 6GB/128GB. Also, the Poco M5 is rumored to have a 5000 mAh battery and would come with a 33W charger. Moreover, the phone would run on Android 12 out of the box with the MIUI 13 skin for Poco phones. When we put together all these components, the Poco M5 should be priced equal to or less than ₹15,000.
Talking about the Poco M5s, it will probably have similar features and specifications as the M5 and will be available in multiple colors like blue, white, and gray. Tech geeks even expect this version to have an AMOLED display.
