I want to rbl play card apply
I believe this card is not available In RBL bank branch ?? Had visited 1 branch in my city (Rajkot) and he didn’t even knew the name of this card.
Tried applying online but it says apply for Popcorn 🍿 instead and when i apply for popcorn online it says it used to give MasterCard so it’s closed as per rbi rules for few time and will be back but it’s never back 😞
Also I get a particular section to apply for play Credit card in bookmyshow mobile application but it get stuck in very first page (proceed button seems disabled); on being inquired to RBL they say ask bms for their app issue and when being inquired to bms they say it’s only invite based. You can apply only if you get Link in your email.
As I’m a Movie Freak, I’d love to have RBL Play or Popcorn Credit Card.
Is there any way that you know through which I can get RBL Play or Popcorn card ??

Also, as far as I know, the BMS Play credit card is not invite-based. Anyone who does the KYC, etc can avail of it so maybe you can give it a try once again..

1. Hi @Rohant, our aim is to share the most relevant, latest news with our users. RBL & BMS announced it yesterday this new Play credit card in their press release which we think can be helpful for our users to know. Hence, a detailed post on it.
2. The deal link you mentioned was I think about the Play card that was launched earlier ( some 2 weeks ago) than this one (and from my research and the points I have shared both have atleast some different offers)
3. Both the cards are almost identical so I understand your opinion of considering this as a repost. Even I was unsure before whether they are the same or different. To better reward @Sir_Alexander for posting first about the Play card, have added credits to him in the article.
There is annual fee if you don’t watch more than 10 movies in an year. Secondly, they’ll give 2 free ticket upto ₹500 combined only if you do transactions of ₹5000 or above in the billing cycle. Although there is no joining fee, but there’s annual fee of ₹500 if you are not BMS superstar. In other words, if you haven’t done 10 BMS transactions in an year. ₹200 bms cash is only applicable when you do video kyc.
This card was showing in the Bookmyshow app a couple of days back.

Which I think is different than the one they have launched yesterday as this old RBL one has only Rs.500 welcome benefit whereas the new one has BMS Cash offer and extra Rs.500 offers
