Sony introduced the WH-1000XM5 noise-canceling headphones to the global market in May 2022. Users in India have been patiently waiting for the headphones to arrive, and it looks like the wait is finally coming to an end. Sony is preparing to launch its next-generation premium noise canceling headphones in India. The Sony WH-1000XM5 wireless headphones were released in worldwide countries in May and are now available in India.

The Sony WH-1000XM5 will be released in India on September 21. The WH-1000XM5 wireless headphones have a comfortable fit and a synthetic leather design with a strapless slider. Sony also boasts that its new flagship noise-canceling headphones have a battery life of up to 30 hours on a single charge. In the United States, the Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones cost $399.99 which is about Rs 31,900 in India.
The Sony WH-1000XM5 is said to feature the best noise-canceling technology on the market. The headphones do this by using eight microphones, which significantly reduce noise, mostly in the mid and high-frequency bands.
The XM5 also has the highest audio quality in the industry. It has a different design than the XM4, and the company claims that it has concentrated a lot more on comfort this time around. The earcups can move sideways but not inwards like the prior gen.
They have huge 30mm dynamic drivers and wireless communication through Bluetooth 5.2. SBC, AAC, and LDAC audio formats, as well as A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, and HSP, are all supported.
There is also AI-based DSEE Extreme technology included in the earphones that restore quality and clarity to lossy compressed formats.
