Quite a lot of new smartphone launches to look forward to next month.
Personally, most excited for Samsung and OnePlus foldable.
Very well-detailed post. VU and KG for your effort.

Neither is Gt neo 6, even Gt 3 or Neo 5/SE not yet launched in India
bought realme gt 2 with sd 888. got for 21k after exchanging a 9a redmi. looks a fab deal. i always look for processor and main camera. after that i really do not care. the last phone i bought was poco f1. lost due to my carelessness. The phones coming nowadays are useless. if u are more into photography , buy dslr, buy a high end laptop instead for games etc. also one should understand that companies too do not have more to offer apart from giving latest processor and camera. lol

I do not research phones from Chinese brands at all (including OnePlus and Nothing). So, you'll have to excuse me for that. I used to be a Moto fan till it was acquired by Lenovo and its excellent software update policy transformed into a terrible one.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 and Flip5 are certainly hot property but every time I see a JerryRigEverthing Burn & Scratch Test video of any foldable showing how even a human's thumb nail leaves a permanent mark on the plastic screen, I can never get around to buying one or even recommending one to anyone who may have loads of money to waste.
The Galaxy S23 FE seems overpriced especially considering it is the Exynos version. Hopefully though, with its release as well as the new foldables the vanilla S23, S22 and S21 FE might get price-cuts. The S21 FE which has been going under Rs 30k occasionally over the past 3 months is an absolute steal irrespective of the Exynos.
Samsung Flip 5 looks more beautiful than predecessors.
It can beat any phone in looks but big disadvantage is that the screen is quite delicate and phone loses resale value quite fast than any phone.

Is Infinix is good brand to consider? They offering good features at less cost.
Please suggest

Your GT 2 is a steal deal for 21K!

Green lines to look forward to.

They do not even mention the number of Android updates their phones will get, which is something every brand does. So if you need to try an Infinix phone, I'd recommend spending no more than 20K. If your experience is good with it, then maybe you can buy another Infinix phone in the future. Is Infinix is good brand to consider? They offering good features at less cost.

Or, you can look at some other, more trustworthy brands (recommended)
Only future smartphone that really excites me is a probable Pixel with an SoC built on a TSMC node and more importantly with none of the Exynos garbage afflicting the Tensor lineup so far. Until then Xiaomi devices running custom ROMs as usual.
As it stands I might actually buy an iPhone for my father as Samsung and Google so far have performed miserably when it comes to the smartwatch segment. I will hold out for another year in the hopes of a miracle no less. Strange as it might sound I have greater hopes from Google than Samsung to deliver.

But I don't know if we should really expect something good from Pixel. Personally, I'm more excited to see what Nothing and OnePlus do from now on. The Nothing Phone 1 was very expensive when it was launched, but it's such a great phone....same can be said about the Phone 2. This new brand is doing far better than most brands who have been here for decades. Also, that Nothing OS is something that I'd pay that extra money for.
Next, OnePlus; the brand has been very aggressive with its phones in 2023 (maybe it considers iQOO and Nothing as threats now). While everyone's saying that Nothing might be the new OnePlus, I think that Nothing is trying to be the next Apple and that still leaves room for OnePlus to do better, it just needs to stay away from Oppo😂
And, not to mention, Honor might come back to India very soon. If we somehow get saved from those security issues, I am all in for Honor.

Nothing fits all my requirements barring service center coverage which is even worse, by far, in case of Google. But the ability to lock the bootloader while using custom ROMs is a big plus in case of Pixels. Also Pixels are well ahead in terms of imaging performance. Don't care about Oneplus anymore as custom ROM development has been dead for more than a year now made worse by the software quirks which shouldn't take anywhere this long to resolve. Honor's not an option due to obvious reasons. I might need to purchase a new device in 2025 which is when the new Tensor SoC stripped off it's Exynos guts is rumoured. If it doesn't come to pass (Google has a poor track record in this regard ) then it will be again a Xiaomi or if Nothing in case of improvement in service coverage.

In which device(s) do you intend to install custom ROM? If it's a completely locked down device like pretty much every Oppo/Vivo there's no need to bother. If it runs near stock Android not much of a need unless it's a barebones one lacking useful features.

Seems like Samsung is bent of cracking that segment when we are wishing for mid rangers in affordable pricing.
Also wish Samsung revisits Exynos strategy. I have seen so many US reviwers ranting about it and wanting SD.

I think brands have been more competitive in the last few months.
