UPI is back in news as it recorded 7.82 Billion Transactions worth ₹12.82 Lakh Crore in December 2022. This is the highest number till date. With 2023 started, let’s have a look at the UPI Limits for banks and wallets such as Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, Freecharge, Mobikwik, Cred, and Amazon Pay.
As per NPCI, the UPI Limit Per Day for a user is ₹1 Lakh for most banks and wallets. This includes the likes of SBI, HDFC, SVC, Axis, and ICICI bank. However, there are some restrictions in digital wallets so let’s check them out. Also, smaller banks have a UPI limit of ₹25,000 per day.

UPI Limit for New Users for 1st 24hrs is ₹5000 for Android Phone but iphone users need to wait for 72hrs.
