In 2018, Xiaomi announced its 1000th service center in India, Hyderabad. At the time, the brand had claimed that it is now able to resolve 95% of cases in under 4 hours of time. The period from 2017 to mid-2021 was the most progressive for Xiaomi as the brand managed to have a market share of 31% to 25%. The same now has been reduced to 23% market share. Nevertheless, Xiaomi is still one of the top smartphone brands in India.
