@Ransome @abhishek012 What I understand is these cards are dual network and when local atm machines read them, unable to choose whether to register to domestic or international network, some even do not show a menu, right?
Then, one can try disabling international payments and enable domestic only from app/netbanking for trying in ATM. That way only option domestic would be selected by ATM without any menu, isn’t it?
@Ransome When was your BPCL card delivered?
Yeah, I understand but international transactions are disabled on my card. Still, this issue persists and the debit card team has repeatedly asked to choose Domestic option on the screen.
My card was delivered last year November. But I used it in other bank ATM about 2 months ago.
Umm, maybe they rectified card chips in recent lot, who knows? Seems applying for the blue card is a better choice after hearing this…

Why you guys use ATM cash withdraw ? last time i use my card for ATM cash withdraw approx 10 years ago.

Can you tell the steps you followed to get a rupay platinum debit card. Did you use mobile banking or netbanking and which varient did you choose ??

Which account variant to choose to get Rupay platinum? It is showing only Visa for all account types.
Was anyone able to complete video kyc recently ? When I try to book a slot, it shows system not available since 3 days now
Just an important update - Bob acc allow total 3 physical RuPay platinum debit card + 1 virtual RuPay platinum debit card.
Some people already used total 4 RuPay platinum debit cards (3 physical + 1 virtual).
Note - Virtual card is free but physical card Rs295 charges per card
You can use multiple cards on same Amazon acc for RuPay-Amazon add money offer

You can also apply for 2 more physical RuPay Platinum debit card.

BOB's physical card charges btw are revised again. Few months ago they were raised to ₹250+GST (₹295) and now again after 08-08-2022 to ₹300+GST=₹354.
Bob is One of the pathetic & exploiting vkycs I've done till now.
1)virtual Adhaar not accepted. No masked Adhaar. Only 100%original they want
2)you should enter everything about you incl personal details, religion, family details, marital status, disability if any etc +when u had last meal, what you ate & what came out etc.. along with Adhaar no. Which they'll surely tag this personal info with.
3)only once vkyc. If you couldn't complete vkyc in one go(network error, technical issues etc) , you're done. You CANNOT RESUME VKYC! you've to visit branch now. If you can't fit some reason.. Congrats you've given your aadhaar along with your personal data to these for exploitation and data selling to "third party" for free..!
4)irony is the vky executive was wearing mask. Meaning he himself doesn't trust BOB IT... He denied to remove mask & show his face. But customer must remove mask and show face, obviously!
5)you've to show your ORIGINAL Adhaar card holding in your hand to that executive.
6) original PAN you've to show.
7)they'll record the video while you're signing & capture photo of sugnature.
8)they'll map all this to your live location.
9)all this data bundled, will be tagged to your Adhaar and stored in their so called "secure server"
Only one word to them..
Guys stay away from these ppl. 1200 or 12000rs profit it's not worth it.. So knows how they'll use these details in future.. U may lose much more than this temporary monetary gain..
Am just sharing my thoughts, nothing against anyone. Of course posting here won't have any impact on Bank of baroda. They'll continue to do so.. & interesting thing is they'll do this stating info is voluntarily given (remember the accept button you pressed at the beginning?)
RBI should've some guidelines on usage and storage of Adhaar +personal info by banks. It has bought good rules recently on storage of debit /credit cards online. Similarly it should have strict guidelines for Adhaar too.

You can also apply for 3 different variant BOB RuPay Platinum debit card - 1 Virtual RuPay Platinum + 1 RuPay Platinum physical + 1 BPCL RuPay Platinum Physical.
All cards will work simultaneously.

Not getting otp for online transaction from yesterday for BOB debit card any one facing same issue
The Video KYC slots are available only between 10.00 AM to 5:00 PM on
all working days as per the list of holidays in the State of Gujarat.
When you try to be smart like me, now need to wait till 28 October as next week is holidays. Should have applied it on 28th, hope the vkyc link continue to work.

I also see 5% cb on utility bill payments. Dunno the maximum cap, terms or MCC codes. Anyone knows this? Not easy to find this info or MITC… This can be a hidden gem!
