There was news about Apple, Samsung and One+ requiring software update. Anyone had luck in Bangalore with any of these manufacturers? (I am going to try it later today on my imported LG V50 and local Samsung M53)

Not only these brands, I believe all 5G smartphones from every brand would need software updates to run 5G. I recently got one such update on my Realme GT Master Edition

Airtel has not yet rolled out 5G at Kolkata, only Jio 5G services are available there as of now. Also, Jio's offer is based on an invitation basis. Only those users would be able to use Jio 5G who would be invited by Jio itself.
