Airtel Xstream Fiber broadband launches three new all-in-one plans

Do we get OTT subscription forever on paying the bills? Or is it only free for 1st month?

We can choose 350 channels or its free to air type free channels &
what about multiple tvs? does we have to take multiple plans for it?

Their service in tier 2/3 cities is not good at all where they mostly operate via LCO. This was the primary reason I switched to JioFiber despite having great speed & plan.

instead of plans they should expand rapidly like jio they were ahead of jio in broadband and now behind airtel is so slow in rollout to new areas

Bharti Airtel introduced three new Xstream Fiber broadband plans on Monday in an effort to expand its internet customer base. The all-in-one options include subscriptions to 17 streaming services, 350+ TV channels, and a 4K streaming box.

The new plans are priced at Rs 699, Rs 1099, and Rs 1499, respectively, and provide speeds of 40 Mbps, 200 Mbps, and 300 Mbps. The top package includes access to all three main OTT providers – Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney+ Hotstar – as well as 14 more content providers via Airtel's Xstream video streaming platform.

Users would have to pay a one-time fee of Rs 2000 for the 4K hybrid TV box, which comes with over 350 channels and is included in the new package. The fair use policy of Airtel relates to broadband consumption of up to 3333 GB per month.

Increased broadband usage in Indian homes has created the practice of hybrid watching, in which families want to watch both OTT and traditional TV on the same screen without having to manage various subscriptions and devices.

"Our new plans are built for India's emerging entertainment needs. Through these bundle offers, we plan to offer our discerning customers great value and convenience and unlock a multi-faceted digital experience," Vir Inder Nath, CEO of Homes at Bharti Airtel, said.

The home broadband market grew 2X in 2020-2021, according to Airtel NSE 0.21 percent, while the number of OTT alternatives increased from 9 to more than 40 in 2021, showing that customers are expecting a broader range of entertainment than ever before.
