Axis Bank's numberless credit card announced today on October 10th is a new Rupay-based credit card the Axis Bank in partnership with Fibe is launching in India. What truly sets this card apart from others is that this would be India’s first numberless credit card.

What is a numberless credit card?💡
A numberless credit card as the name suggests is simply a card which would have no credit card number, no expiry date, and even no CVV. This kind of card can be used by a payment service app (such as UPI in the case of Axis numberless credit card) to make payments.

Axis today said the following in a statement:

“Axis Bank, one of the largest private sector banks in India and Fibe, (formerly known as EarlySalary), India’s leading Fintech, today partnered to launch India’s first-ever numberless credit card for tech-savvy Gen Zs.”

Though numberless, the details of your card including your card number will be visible in the Fibe app.

How to Apply for an Axis Numberless Credit Card

The Axis Bank numberless credit card is not yet launched in India. However, the bank has promised to launch the numberless credit card soon in India. Once launched, customers will be able to apply for Axis numberless credit card.

To apply for the same, customers can follow the given steps:

  1. Visit the Axis Bank's official website

  2. Navigate to “Explore Products”

  3. Go to “Cards” and then select “Credit Cards”

  4. Browse through the available credit cards and apply for your desired one

  5. Complete the online Axis credit card application by filling in your details like mobile number, PAN card number, etc (if a non-Axis bank customer) and submit it for approval

How to Use Axis Bank Numberless Credit Card

The usage of a numberless credit card is something that many customers may be confused about.
