As per the above post… “DigiBoxx excels in almost all departments. Here, you get a year’s subscription of 24TB for Rs 360 whereas in Google Drive you pay Rs 1560/year and that too for just around 1TB”

I didn’t understand if this is how the math is done.. 1 month – 2TB – Rs 30 | then 12 months – 24TB – Rs 360

I thought it would be 2TB for 12 months @ Rs 360.

Could anyone please clarify?

I just register as free user. Poor interface. Quite slow and many options like manage account and profile are unresponsive. In change language option list of languages opens but not able to select any other language. Even not able to change default password sent on mail.

Rs 30/month for 100GB or you can pay 360/year for 100GB
Rs 1080/year for 500GB
Rs 1440/year for 1TB
Rs 2388/year for 2TB

In description it says up to 2TB for Rs 30. It doesn’t mean 2TB for 30

I had similar issue with the free account post registration. Tried the forgot password option to rest and bingo… it worked. However, this is not user friendly as google yet. Looking forward for better UI and ease of use.

How can one trust these sarkari people who cannot even run a ITR website properly. Those who think they will manage your valuable files better than Google or Dropboxx, well, be ready for a shock or two.

If you are storing important or private data, then stick to reputed players, no matter how pricey the plans are. These storage startup plans seem lucrative but are not sustainable in the long run.

Superb news! Great initiative!!

Like many other things, this too was required to make India self dependent. We need not only manufacturing and services but also need our own brand.

Teething troubles are natural for any startup so I will discount that. Even if this initiative fail, it is going to open the flood gates for many other give entrepreneurs. That is already a success.

We, Indians have no privacy. All our movement, personal data and even smallest detail are with Google and Facebook. They are anyway facing huge antitrust law suits in many countries. So we should be the last one complaining about privacy. However, as always it happen in India, once there are many such services in play, government will implement their regulations too.

Happy to see all these initiatives leading to Aatmanirbhar Bharat.

Aatmanirbhar Bharat or not, I would not want to see my files vanish or become inaccessible all of the sudden. From my experience on various government websites, my fear is very real. I would not trust anything government and waste my time, but yes, those promoting Aatmanirbhar Bharat please go ahead and share your experience.

As of now, I will avoid this because of following reasons:

  1. Post says Digiboxx is by Niti Ayog, but I could not find this on digiboxx website
  2. Company address no where mentioned, just an email id and a mobile no in name of contact

Pls not Niti Ayog will never own such company, they may endorse under make in India program, which is no where on digiboxx website.

So store your docs at own risk smile
