DigiBoxx is now launched in India by Niti Aayog as an initiative to “Atma Nirbhar Bharat''. Google Drive, Dropbox and iCloud have found a new player in their industry named DigiBoxx. Talking about its features, on paper all have the same ones with some minor differences. Although, it will be interesting to see how DigiBoxx performs practically in terms of security, speed, access, and many other important factors. See their comparison below.

Govt employee who work on dis might sell data
Third class app everytime i tried to login it shows internal server error.
Who in their senses would want to upload their stuff to the government.
Last like govt have all your data already. While this not b govt but cloud provided by govt is only secure option. Google, fb, wapp already selling your data and earning billions.
Digiboxx is not out if the box.Performance abdv Services will be just like BSNL
Another freedom251.
Nautanki ki dukaan.
As of now, I will avoid this because of following reasons:
Pls not Niti Ayog will never own such company, they may endorse under make in India program, which is no where on digiboxx website.
So store your docs at own risk
Digiboxx is a startup, only launched by Niti Aayog CEO.
Superb news! Great initiative!!
Like many other things, this too was required to make India self dependent. We need not only manufacturing and services but also need our own brand.
Teething troubles are natural for any startup so I will discount that. Even if this initiative fail, it is going to open the flood gates for many other give entrepreneurs. That is already a success.
We, Indians have no privacy. All our movement, personal data and even smallest detail are with Google and Facebook. They are anyway facing huge antitrust law suits in many countries. So we should be the last one complaining about privacy. However, as always it happen in India, once there are many such services in play, government will implement their regulations too.
Happy to see all these initiatives leading to Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
Aatmanirbhar Bharat or not, I would not want to see my files vanish or become inaccessible all of the sudden. From my experience on various government websites, my fear is very real. I would not trust anything government and waste my time, but yes, those promoting Aatmanirbhar Bharat please go ahead and share your experience.
If you are storing important or private data, then stick to reputed players, no matter how pricey the plans are. These storage startup plans seem lucrative but are not sustainable in the long run.
faced the same situation. and had to do reset. Yet to try using on daily basis.
How can one trust these sarkari people who cannot even run a ITR website properly. Those who think they will manage your valuable files better than Google or Dropboxx, well, be ready for a shock or two.
Its more than 3 days after payment and registration did not received the password. No way to contact them
I had similar issue with the free account post registration. Tried the forgot password option to rest and bingo… it worked. However, this is not user friendly as google yet. Looking forward for better UI and ease of use.
Great
Loved those plans and Shame on Google being a market leader
You can have 100GB free with Degoo
It’s the worst service I have ever seen. They deleted my account and data without notice…
Rs 30/month for 100GB or you can pay 360/year for 100GB
Rs 1080/year for 500GB
Rs 1440/year for 1TB
Rs 2388/year for 2TB
In description it says up to 2TB for Rs 30. It doesn’t mean 2TB for 30
Launched by NITI AAYOG or NITI AAYOG CEO? Consider the difference
Already have free account at Box with 50gb storage
Ha, yea. I totally forgot about my box account. I have 25 GB (created in 2013).
I just register as free user. Poor interface. Quite slow and many options like manage account and profile are unresponsive. In change language option list of languages opens but not able to select any other language. Even not able to change default password sent on mail.
For monthly 30 subscription you will get 100GB storage you will get.
As per the above post… “DigiBoxx excels in almost all departments. Here, you get a year’s subscription of 24TB for Rs 360 whereas in Google Drive you pay Rs 1560/year and that too for just around 1TB”
I didn’t understand if this is how the math is done.. 1 month – 2TB – Rs 30 | then 12 months – 24TB – Rs 360
I thought it would be 2TB for 12 months @ Rs 360.
Could anyone please clarify?
Op thought, if a cloth takes 1 hr to get dried, 10 pieces of similar clothes of same size will take 10 hrs to get dried.
Payment failed message while creating a free account. Cant even reset my password( never asked for password while registering)
All your data at the mercy of government
Now ; All our data @ mercy of corporate giants ( not answerable to us @ all in any way )
Sarkari hai to Bharosemand hai
it is not govt, it is an indian startup company promoted by niti ayog
Competitive prices, I hope it takes off.
Good, great start as of now. More space and low prices.
