How does Jio Postpaid Plus compare with Airtel and Vodafone-Idea?

Airtel R. 499 plan currently offers 75 GB Data with rollover, Unlimited Local/STD & Roaming calls. And FREE 1 year subscription to Amazon Prime Video and ZEE5. Vodafone-Idea RED Unlimited plan offers only 40GB Data with rollover of 200GB, 100 SMS/month and Zee5 Subscription. Its very clear that Jio has priced plans extremely aggressively and will force other Telecom Providers to better their plans. Its celebration time for consumers though.

Depends on Netflix subscription duration, I doubt it will be annual. Could be one or two months

As per their FAQ, It hints that it might be ongoing subscription

As long as you are a JioPostPaid Plus plan user with on eligible plans offering Netflix, your Netflix mobile plan subscription is included in your plan and you do not need to pay anything additional.

Mobile plans are not really useful to the target audience.

Think Jio should allow users to upgrade to higher Netflix plans by paying the balance amount.

Also, coming to other network calls, they didn’t mention clearly about truly unlimited calls.

There are currently no charges for calls to other networks for JioPostPaid Plus users, however, commercial usage guidelines are applicable.

Any idea about these guidelines

Vodafone in assam circle is strong. Network is always there for years no matter how worse the storm is. Other networks including jio, prev reliance, shuts down.
Aircel was like that too. Reliable whether its flood or seasonal storms.

Totally agree with you. Instead of offering OTT contents for free, they should work on providing better network and data speed. 4G data speed in our country is a joke. If these mobile operators start providing high speed and stable data connection, nobody will need broadband connection at home.
