Budget smartphone lovers will be eagerly waiting for any updates on the JioPhone Next in the Reliance AGM 2021. If rumours are to be believed then this mobile will be priced at around Rs 3999. It will be operating on a customized version of Android.
Last year, Reliance announced this phone in its annual general meeting so it is expected to launch this year. Moreover, there may be around 200M Jio phones manufactured in its 1st phase of sales.
Jio might use the Android Go version for low RAM and storage. Additionally, it may partner with Qualcomm for processor needs. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 480 is the cheapest processor so it is a good option.
The JioPhone Next is now officially launched on 24th June 2021. It will be available for sale from 10th September 2021 on the divine occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. It will be a 4G smartphone.
Jio’s affordable laptop, JioBook might be launched in the Reliance AGM 2021 at a price of Rs 9,999. This laptop might be running on Android and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor. It may also include a screen resolution of 1366x768, Jio OS, 32 or 64 GB eMMC, 5.1 memory, Bluetooth, WiFi 2.4 and 5 GHz connectivity.

Recently, news broke that Intel will work with Jio for 5G RAN (radio access network) leading to its upcoming 5G network in India. It is expected to roll out at the end of this year, but already the launch is delayed due to the pandemic.
