After a year of Jio AirFiber’s announcement in the Reliance AGM 2022, the Jio wireless broadband is finally here for customers to purchase and start using. Jio AirFiber plans are divided into two types mainly: Jio AirFiber and Jio AirFiber Max. The only main differences between the two are the price & broadband speed. Have a look at all the Jio AirFiber Plans below to understand:

1. You get 3 complimentary devices on your Jio AirFiber and they are: a 4K Smart Setup Box, a Voice Active Remote, and a Wi-Fi router.

2. An installation charge of Rs.1000 is also applicable for new JioAirFiber connections. This is refundable if you opt for their annual plan

3. A booking amount of Rs.100 will be charged which will be adjusted in your bill

4. Jio AirFiber works on Jio 5G so the unit most likely can only be installed in areas Jio 5G is available in

5. Jio is yet to confirm if the Jio Airfiber can work on the 4G network if 5G isn’t available

6. The Jio AirFiber can provide an approximate coverage of up to 20 to 30 feet radius.

To book Jio AirFiber, follow the below steps:

Method 1

1. Visit the official Jio AirFiber page

2. Check if your city is listed in the Jio AirFiber available cities

3. Click on “Get AirFiber”

4. Enter your mobile number, address & other details

5. Complete the booking by paying Rs.100

6. Upon completion, you will receive a confirmation SMS to track your order

7. Your Jio AirFiber booking is done

1. Give a missed call to 60008 60008

2. Request the Jio customer care service for Jio AirFiber

3. Follow the steps required

The total cost of installing & activating the Jio AirFiber can be done by summing up the following costs: (Plan price) + (18% GST) + (Rs.1000 charges if applicable) + (Rs.100 booking amount - adjusted later)

So for example, if you’re planning to book the Jio AirFiber 599 Plan for 6 months, the total cost comes to around Rs.4240 (inclusive of GST) + (Rs.1000 installation charge) + (Rs.100 booking amount) and hence, the total cost would be Rs.5340.

Similarly, you can calculate the total cost for any Jio AirFiber plan this way. Also, keep in mind that the installation cost is waived if you purchase the Jio AirFiber annual plan.
