1) Open iMobile App-> Open ipal chat-> in ipal chat type "contact support"
2) Click on contact us-> Select savings account-> Click on email us
3 Under the type of complaint select "Debit card/cheque book not received"
4) In the type of query box put "issue me a Rupay debit card"
5) Within 24 hours ICICI will call you up and say that they have stopped issuing rupay cards.
6) Insist on Rupay debit card and say that if you'll have stopped, please send me an email because I want to forward it to rbi ombudsman and NPCI. If they still don't agree ask them to escalate to their manager.
7) Customer support will then agree and issue you a rupay card.
Note: ICICI has only one type of rupay card, by default you will get a platinum card

Last thing, Sometimes Imobile app virtual RuPay card CVV number showing incorrect, always use physical RuPay card CVV number, otherwise your transaction will get failed.
is it possible to get rupay card for insta mine account ?
whenever i asked for rupay they clearly denied saying rupay card on mine accounts not possible.. only mine debit card is possbile..
Does it provide lounge access without any restrictions ? since icic usually have the shitty (5k spend in eaarlier quarter restriction for using lounge access on cc(coral,mmt etc).

I had opened ICICI Salary Account and had got Visa Platinum Debit Card then.
As salary stopped getting credited to that account, I guess that account got converted to normal savings account, though I didn't receive any official confirmation of the same.
Right now, that card is due for renewal in couple of months and ICICI would automatically send the new card from the system. How to get new card as RuPay Card?
I don't wish to spend ₹177 just for getting a new card.

For new accounts, does visa platinum 177 charge taken in beginning itself is at the end of year?
(Branch told me they hv rupay platinum in insta kit. They opened account but after they handed over the kit, it had visa platinum. When I told them they told they can't do anything as the kit number account is already mapped & if I want I can give request form for new debit card.)

He has different account, currently I have not seen any mine account holder getting rupay platinum card. As mine account is discontinued, after few years maybe one can get Rupay platinum.

Today applied for the card by calling to customer care number above, it worked,. Some associates are not taking the request for rupay.try again untill u get it with them.
Call customer care, simply they will upgrade with out any charges
Hey @abhishek012 bro, I was just able to manage and icici agreed to issue Rupay card ( didn't mentioned Plat though) . In I Mobile I see its only written Rupay and nothing else. Should I wait for physical delivery or there is a way to confirm it is platinum or not?
Customer care declined my rupay DC request saying I have Mine SA. Has anyone taken Rupay DC on Mine SA ?
ask them to write you an email saying that icici doesn't issue Rupay for salary accounts. Say u need it for legal purpose
Just ask them to apply for RuPay debit card (you'll get platinum by default).
I think they are getting confused between the card branding and RuPay card variants.

they said it will be chargeable.. issue fee is 999 rs and annual fee is 750 rupees.. my account is titanium salary account.

I think you apply for RuPay Rubyx debit card.
Call again and just ask for RuPay debit card. you will get by default Platinum variant.

Called them just now and placed a request. it was smooth process. Executive didn't confirm "Platinum" and took request of Rupay DC. I had a Visa Platinum debit card of exactly same design in previous post, which has now been cancelled on my request to make way for Rupay DC.
